"Chinchorro" with cream and brown checks, handmade.

Made with Miratex yarn (a combination of cotton and synthetic), this chinchorro was created in the ranchería of Aremaseaia in La Guajira, Colombia, and we like to call it practical and even sporty. It seems like the ideal piece for an informal or casual space, however the Wayuu designs of the seals crocheted, making it a high-end chinchorro in our collection.

WOMEN: MOTHERS OF OUR PRODUCTS

In the communities of La Guajira and San Jacinto, Colombia, women have been at the center of artisanal work for centuries, a craft passed down from mother to mother. From a young age, they are taught textile techniques, growing up and becoming women immersed in this tradition. In addition to culturally preserving their textiles, women play a key role in their businesses, actively managing the business, organizing groups and associations in the regions, and ensuring the regulation of every aspect of the activity.

MILAN FOR US

Milan, renowned for fashion, design and furniture, is a unique and avant-garde city in Europe. Different disciplines merge, creating a distinctive style that makes it constantly in search of innovation. In a few decades, the city has become the capital of design in all its forms. Legado, a Latin American project with Italian roots, has captured this need for innovation, seeing Milan as a blank canvas. Here, the new, linear and clean of modern design intertwine with the tradition and bright colors of indigenous cultures.
